I’m Linda Reid, the Principal Owner of Water365, LLC.
I’ve been interested in water for a long time.
My favorite memories are of being around water. When I was a little girl, I’d rather play in a stream, river, or lake than any other place. Growing up, I thought the perfect job would to be a lighthouse keeper or commercial fisherman. That way I’d get to be on or near the water all day, 365 days a year. I’m a little older and wiser now, but I still feel the same way about water.
I have nearly 20years of experience working with diverse groups on freshwater quality issues and water-related climate resilience planning projects.
I’ve been fortunate to have been able to merge my lifelong love of water with my skills and experience in helping organizations to reach their own water-related goals, first as the founding director of the Institute for Water Business at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and now as the Principal of Water365, LLC, where I work collaboratively with organizations using a staff-on-loan model to address sustainable water management and climate resilience issues.
I’m also the former executive director of a water quality-focused environmental non-profit as well as the former director of business development and outreach for a civil engineering firm specializing in stormwater design. Over the years I’ve honed the facilitator, project manager, educator, and technical consultant skills I rely on to serve my current clients.
Recently, I add two talented and experienced co-consultants to the Water365 team, Shannon Robek-Klein and Caroline Vanevenhoven.
While both my own career path and the business continue to change and grow, Water365’s mission — building capability and capacity for a more resilient freshwater future — remains the same.
